2002. Robinson Crusoe. Another year with a technical problem that delayed the start of the show . One of the channels on the sound system packed up just before the show. A replacement was sourced and brought in. Chris worked out that there were 10 minutes before any effects were needed and proceeded to replace the amplifier. Derek on the lights was amazed to see cables ands equipment being thrown about, and Graham (Stage Mnager) wanted to know what was happening. The amplifier was replaced in time for Chris to have a swig of his pint and hit the first sound cue right on time, much to the relief of Graham. Of course the performance went off perfectly except for 1 ½ pages of dialogue being missed out coming back on script with one line before the next sound effect was due.
