2004. Aladdin. This year started off with Keith Hall having to back out of the production because of illness. Sadly he passed away later in the year. Much missed by the group. Our run also got off to a bad start when on the Wednesday afternoon, the heavens opened and quite a few inches of snow descended on the area. At 7PM the performance was cancelled because of the transport problems. Our problems didn’t finish there. Half-way through the Saturday Afternoon performance, we had a power cut. When Alan asked the audience if they wanted to leave, no-one left, so we finished the performance using torches, Acapella singing and manually doing any sound effects, even to shouting BANG! At the appropriate points. Of course the audience loved it. By the night time performance, we had organised generators courtesy of Robert Swann. Doing the de-rig that night was fun.
