The 10’s. With Alison and Mark as joint Chair-people
The productions of the 10’s were as shown below. Again, we are looking for photos to put onto the site. Just after our 2009 run, we sadly lost Pearl Hutley , followed very suddenly by Sue Meyer’s husband John. Pearl had been on the stage in the early days and then was front of house right up to the end. John always organised the printing of the tickets for us. In 2012 we lost Lionel Britten after a long fight with cancer. He had been hoping to have some part to play in our 30th production, but passed away just before we had got going with it. Julie O’Brien also lost her husband , Bob, just after our 30th production.
On the plus side, Mark married Alison and they are now tproud parents. Has yhe next generation of the group arrived.? Sue Meyer was made an M.B.E. For her services to the community, and Alan Hooker was rewarded for his many years with the scouts, with a British Empire Medal. We also had a ball to celebrate our 30th.
